Job Summary
Plan and deliver daily lesson plans, provide individualized academic support to child and adolescent students in a behavioral health facility, monitor and communicate student progress, and maintain accurate attendance and session reports. Responsibilities include adjusting teaching strategies to ensure student success, managing small class sizes (8–15 students), and collaborating with treatment teams. Requires a Bachelor's degree and an NJ Standard teaching license; position is part-time with 20 hours per week (Mon-Fri, 9am-1pm).
Required Qualifications
- B.A./B.S. degree from an accredited institution
- NJ Standard teaching license (CE and CEAS do not meet the requirements)
- Comfortable working with K-12 students
