Job Summary
Part-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) sought to deliver full-scope anesthesia care. Responsibilities include reviewing patient data and medical history, maintaining patient safety during anesthesia, administering medications and fluids, monitoring airway and physiologic responses, completing required documentation (surgical safety checklist, pre-operative assessment, intra-operative anesthetic record, transfer-of-care note), and incident reporting. Role requires meeting education program accreditation as a CRNA and holding applicable licensure/certification. Location: Newport News, Virginia (on-site).
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the COA or its predecessor
- CRNA license/certification or equivalent to practice as a CRNA
