Job Summary
Part-Time Certified Online ELA, Social Studies, and Electives Teacher for a fully remote online high school program. Create and deliver personalized instruction for ELA, Social Studies, and elective courses to students ages 16–21, act as EL Coordinator for English Learners, monitor academic policies and progress, provide real-time support via phone, video, and virtual meetings (including outside regular hours), tailor instructional strategies for diverse learners, maintain FERPA confidentiality, and collaborate with stakeholders to support student success in a standards-based, self-paced online curriculum.
Required Qualifications
- Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Highly qualified ELA teaching certification with SEI Endorsement
- Previous experience with online course facilitation
- Desire to positively impact adolescents and adults ages 16-21
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Consistently positive customer service
- Strong student-focused work ethic
