Job Summary
Answer signal lights and bells to determine resident needs. Assist residents with grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair, and incontinence care. Obtain food trays and assist with feeding. Support range of motion exercises, movement to wheelchairs or activity areas, turning, positioning in bed, and short-distance ambulation. Record vital signs and food/fluid intake/output as directed. Perform other tasks assigned under supervision. Valid CNA certification and six months long-term care experience preferred. Required Qualifications
- Valid certification as a CNA in the state of employment
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred
- Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members, and facility staff
