Job Summary
Part-time CRNA providing full-scope anesthesia care; responsibilities include collecting and reviewing patient data, maintaining airway management and patient safety, administering medications and fluids per standards, continuously monitoring physiologic responses to anesthesia, completing required documentation (surgical safety checklist, pre-operative assessment, intra-operative record, and transfer-of-care notes), and logging incidents. Requires graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia educational program and adherence to clinical privileges. Location: Saint Petersburg, FL, USA.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs or its predecessor
- Nurse anesthesia licensure/credentialing as CRNA
- Ability to perform essential anesthesia duties including data collection/review, airway management, administration of medications and fluids, ongoing patient assessment, and documentation
