Job Summary
Provide SMART customer service by identifying customer needs and assisting with locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise. Plan delivery activities, print loading tickets, and deliver orders according to schedule while pulling, building, and banding loads within payload limits. Inspect product condition before loading, match invoice quantities, and un/install appliances upon delivery. Maintain safe, secure loads compliant with DOT regulations, update route status on system, and ensure vehicle cleanliness and maintenance. Conduct daily safety reviews, detect security risks, and adhere to all housekeeping and safety requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Class A CDL License
- Class B CDL License with air break endorsement
- Valid medical certificate or ability to obtain one upon employment
- Ability to pass MVR screen in accordance with company requirements
- Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction)
- Must be 21 years of age
- Ability to comply with DOT and CDL regulations
Desired Qualifications
- 1 Year Experience driving a semi-truck/trailer or certification from a driving school
- 6 Months Experience performing in-home delivery or retail customer service
- 3 Months Experience operating a forklift or Moffett onloading/offloading a vehicle
