Job Summary
Plan delivery activities, pull merchandise, build and band loads, and deliver orders according to schedule while providing SMART customer service. Inspect products before loading, unloads and installs appliances upon delivery, and verify invoice quantities match loaded items. Ensure loads remain safe and secure per DOT regulations, update route status on the system, and maintain vehicle cleanliness and compliance. Conduct daily safety reviews, note hazards, and detect security risks promptly. Operate store equipment as needed and adhere to all housekeeping and safety requirements. Must hold a Class A or B CDL license, pass MVR screen, be 21 years of age, and comply with DOT regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Class A CDL License
- Class B CDL License with air break endorsement
- Valid medical certificate or ability to obtain one upon employment
- Ability to pass MVR screen in accordance with company requirements
- Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction)
- Must be 21 years of age
- Ability to comply with DOT and CDL regulations
Desired Qualifications
- 1 Year Experience driving a semi-truck/trailer or certification from a driving school
- 6 Months Experience performing in-home delivery or retail customer service
- 3 Months Experience operating a forklift or Moffett onloading/offloading a vehicle
