Job Summary
CDL B Driver needed to operate CDL B vehicles for designed test routes on public roads, recording observations of vehicle performance, ride, and component failures, and documenting data in logs or electronic systems. Role involves following detailed prep instructions, performing vehicle inspections, and potentially assisting in training others. Must possess a High School diploma or GED, a Class B CDL, and have a minimum of five years of driving experience with an excellent driving record; POS requires ability to drive safely under varied conditions, and adherence to safety policies as a drug-free, safety-sensitive position. Strong communication skills and ability to work cooperatively in diverse environments are expected.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Class B Commercial Driver's License
- CDL B with at least 3 years commercial driving experience
- Minimum of 5 years of driving experience with excellent driving record
- Safety Sensitive position requiring all persons assigned to activity be drug free
- Able to safely drive in heavy traffic and adverse weather conditions
