Part-time Cashier (Waterford, MI)

Greet customers, thank them by name, and clear checkout lines quickly while answering calls and pages. Process register transactions for sales and returns, balance drawers, and monitor all cash register procedures. Build product knowledge to assist customers with store layout and location, then assist with pricing, stocking, marking, and bagging merchandise. Keep the front end, checkout areas, and entrance doors neat and clean, face and dust counters, rotate fresh merchandise, and stock fresh ads in shopping carts. Ensure forms and supplies are stocked, decorate the front end per program, and call for cart pickups. Inform management when merchandise returns need to be put away. Perform all other duties as assigned.
