Job Summary
Process monetary transactions for customers with speed and efficiency while demonstrating high product knowledge. Operate the POS system, count and balance the cash till before and after shifts, and bag and pack purchases with care. Collect shopping carts from the parking lot regardless of weather and maintain clean, organized displays and work areas. Adhere to the market's time and attendance policy while keeping a positive attitude throughout the shift.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrates basic math skills with and without a calculator
- Ability to write legibly and read with comprehension at a level where it applies to this position
- Knowledge of current product and codes
- Must be able to handle average-weight objects up to 25 pounds
- Must be able to stand or walk for more than four (4) hours per day
