Job Summary
Craft quality customer experiences by providing efficient, effective service in the checkout lane. Become knowledgeable on Meijer programs and promotions to best assist customers and create welcoming, memorable interactions. Use Meijer systems to complete transactions efficiently and accurately, handling cash and payments responsibly with attention to detail. Communicate clearly and confidently to answer customer questions and help resolve concerns, building trust that encourages returns. Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly. Full weekend availability (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) is required. Pay rate is $14.50/hour.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Full weekend availability (Friday, Saturday, AND Sunday)
- You enjoy working with people and providing great service
- You're comfortable learning and using technology
- You listen well, communicate clearly, and stay organized
- You're dependable, detail‐oriented, and eager to help
- You have the ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods
