Job Summary
Greet patients on the sales floor and at checkout, verify purchased products, and complete cash or card sales with precise attention to detail. Maintain responsibility for all transactions, inventory, and drawer closing numbers while assisting with the online product reservation and daily cash reconciliation process. Answer the phone, take messages, and direct calls to the proper person. Keep the dispensary sales floor clean, sanitized, and free of clutter. Follow all state and federal regulations, including IDFPR, and perform duties as assigned. This role requires proficiency with Point of Sales software, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work varied hours including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Must be available typical retail working hours. Mornings/Nights. Weekends and Holidays.
- Six months to one-year sales or POS experience
- Proficient with technology
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must be 21 years of age
- Must possess a valid license or state ID
- Must be available to work varied hours and/or days, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds by themselves and 75+ pounds with a buddy, ability to be on standing or sitting for long periods of time.
- Ability to operate Point of Sales Software
- Attention to detail, organized and patient
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to listen and work under pressure without losing composure
- Ability to meet the needs of customers / patients and coworkers without constant supervision
- Good Memory and recall
- Exceptional customer service skills are a must with a friendly, warm and welcoming personality
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in all situations with staff and customers
