Job Summary
Check out customer merchandise through POS registers while greeting and acknowledging shoppers in a prompt, friendly manner. Handle products with care, stock and straighten shelves, and remain product knowledgeable regarding advertised sales. Assist customers in making buying decisions by identifying needs, making recommendations, and promoting programs including CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick-up. Operate the computerized Point of Sale system and calculate figures for discounts and change. Perform these duties under general supervision while maintaining effective relationships with management, coworkers, and customers.
Required Qualifications
- High School education or equivalent experience
- Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change to customers
- Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to our customers and other associates
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, coworkers and customers
- Ability to operate computerized Point of Sale register system
- Minimum Degree Required: High School education or equivalent experience
