Job Summary
Assist full-time carpenters with building maintenance projects including painting, patching, plumbing, and carpentry. Serve as on-duty carpenter during evening concerts and events, managing setup and breakdown of tables, chairs, and other event logistics. Operate forklifts for show load-in/out and oversee casual labor when hired. Identify equipment needing maintenance and develop repair plans while keeping storage areas and the carpentry shop clean and orderly. Participate in building walks with the Sr. Operations Manager and Maintenance Foreman to prioritize projects. Requires forklift certification, ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays, and capacity to lift 35 pounds. Must work independently under pressure while adhering to strict safety protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Forklift certification
- Basic knowledge of MS Office and Outlook
- Ability to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to lift at least 35 pounds
- Ability to work independently, exercising judgment and initiative with minimal supervision
- Ability to maintain an effective working relationship with employees and others encountered through the course of employment
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and/or stringent schedule and produce accurate results in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions and communicate effectively with others in both oral and written form
- Ability to promote, execute, and adhere to the company's safety program
- Ability to work in a safe, responsible manner to not intentionally or unintentionally injure oneself, or endanger the wellbeing of others
