Job Summary
Support an elderly male with intellectual and developmental disabilities through daily activities, personal hygiene tasks, meal preparation, and light cleaning. Ensure the individual's safety while facilitating community outings such as grocery shopping and appointments. Promote communication, choice, and socialization by encouraging independence during home activities. Complete daily progress notes to track progress. This independent contractor role offers $16.00 hourly pay with flexible 4pm–9pm shifts. Candidates must possess a valid driver's license, one year of caregiving experience, and pass background screenings.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Must be able to pass Local and Level 2 Background Screening
- Provide proven 1 year of caregiving experience or technical training
- Have a High School diploma or equivalent
- Are 18 years of age or older
