Job Summary
Provide in-home elder care with a focus on personal care, nutrition, safety, and companionship. Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and safe mobility; preparing simple meals; maintaining a clean living space; providing medication reminders and tracking basic health cues; offering active companionship, light exercise support, and accompanying clients to errands or appointments; and assisting transfers up to 25 lbs. Certifications in CPR/First Aid are preferred or willingness to obtain soon. Opportunities for training and advancement are available; schedules include day, evening, overnight, and weekend options. This role is a Part-Time position in Glendale, CA, focused on compassionate, patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Caregiver, Home Health Aide, PCA, or CNA preferred
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to earn it soon)
- Clear, compassionate communication and respect for client privacy
- Strength to assist transfers or lift up to 25 lbs when needed
