Job Summary
Part-Time Cannabis Advisor in Aurora responsible for providing exceptional individualized customer service, educational consulting, and in some cases patient record management. Responsibilities include greeting customers/patients, educating them on cannabis products and methods, building rapport to promote repeat business, processing transactions at the POS with METRC/BioTrack inventory updates, ensuring compliance with local/state regulations, stocking/merchandising, and supporting managers and other Cannabis Advisors. Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, 1-2 years of retail or hospitality experience, 21+ and background check/badging, willingness to learn about cannabinoids and product applications, and ability to use standard office software. Working in a fast-paced retail environment with a focus on safety and compliance, the role involves staying informed about regulatory requirements and maintaining a clean, organized storefront.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of retail or hospitality experience
- Must be 21 years of age and comply with all local, state, and company regulations
- Required to undergo a criminal background check and appropriate state badging (as directed by state ordinances)
- Desire to learn about cannabinoids, terpenes and product application/consumption methods
- Ability to use office equipment (computers and printers) and their included software i.e. Word, Excel, email, etc.
- Learn and understand Federal, State, and local laws relating to the cannabis industry and safety regulations
