Job Summary
Locum Part-Time Physician role on a long-term contract at the Excelsior Springs Job Corps campus. Provide physical exams and minor acute medical care for student patients ages 16-24 on-site, 18 hours per week, 8-hour day shifts, no weekends. Collaborate with mid-levels and specialty staff; practice includes school physicals, minor sports injuries, hypertension, diabetes, ADHD, URIs, STDs, GERD, allergies, and wellness/sick visits. Requires active Missouri medical license and a valid Federal DEA license; independent contractor arrangement with competitive compensation at $155/hour. Office location is in Excelsior Springs, MO, with on-site responsibilities and the ability to work within a team-oriented environment.
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted state medical license in Missouri state
- Experience in providing medical care to adolescent patients, including performing basic medical procedures and prescribing medications
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work 18 hours per week (no weekends)
- Prior experience as a locums physician is a plus
- Valid Federal DEA license
