Job Summary
Part-time contract locum physician to provide school physical exams and minor acute medical care at the student wellness center on-site at Excelsior Springs Job Corps. Responsibilities include managing exams and common conditions (hypertension, diabetes, ADHD, GERD, UTIs, URIs, STDs, sprains, allergies, sick visits) for patients aged 16-24, collaborating with mid-levels and wellness staff, and maintaining independence within a team. 8:00 am–5:00 pm schedule, 18 hours per week, no weekends, on-site clinic, with Missouri license and DEA required.
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted state medical license in Missouri
- Valid Federal DEA license
- Experience in providing medical care to adolescent patients
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Physician with 18 hours per week availability (no weekends)
