Job Summary
Locum Part-Time Physician provide physical exams and minor acute medical care to student patients ages 16-24 at Excelsior Springs Job Corps campus. On-site, 18 hours/week with no weekend shifts, contracted role via The Locums Company, LLC. Responsibilities include school physical exams, minor sports injuries, management of hypertension, diabetes, ADHD, GERD, UTIs and URIs, STDs, sprains, allergies, wellness exams, and sick visits. Collaborates with mid-levels and wellness staff; low patient load. Requires Missouri medical license and Federal DEA license; strong communication and problem-solving skills; capable of independent and team-based work. Location: Excelsior Springs, MO, on-site during day shifts; reimbursement includes professional liability insurance.
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Missouri state medical license
- Federal DEA license
- Experience with adolescent patient care and procedures
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Willingness to work 18 hours per week, no weekends
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
