Job Summary
Locum Part-Time Campus Physician at Excelsior Springs Job Corps on-site in the Wellness Clinic Youth Center. Provide physical exams and minor acute care to student patients aged 16-24, 18 hours/week, no weekends, 8:00 am–5:00 pm schedule, contract/1099 arrangement, with collaboration from Mid-Levels and wellness staff. On-site role with compensation of $155/hour and professional liability insurance; required Missouri medical license and DEA license; strong communication and teamwork skills; independent work capability.
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted medical license in Missouri
- Experience with adolescent patients, including performing basic medical procedures and prescribing medications
- Valid Federal DEA license
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work 18 hours per week (no weekends)
- Prior locum physician experience is a plus
