Job Summary
Locum Part-time Contract campus physician to provide physical exams and minor acute medical care for student patients ages 16-24 at Excelsior Springs Job Corps. On-site 18 hours per week with no weekend shifts, working 8:00 am–5:00 pm. Collaborates with mid-levels and wellness staff; low volume patient load. On-site compensation includes professional liability insurance. Requires active Missouri medical license and Federal DEA license; experience with adolescent care and basic procedures; strong communication and teamwork skills. Job is a long-term contract role with The Locums Company, LLC, in Excelsior Springs, MO, with in-person work location and 1099/Independent Contractor status.
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted state medical license in Missouri
- Experience in providing medical care to adolescent patients, including performing basic medical procedures and prescribing medications
- Valid Federal DEA license
- Ability to work 18 hours per week (no weekends)
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to work independently and as part of a team
- Prior experience as a locums physician is a plus
