Job Summary
Provide physical exams and minor acute medical care to student patients aged 16-24 at the Excelsior Springs Job Corps on-site, 18 hours per week, part-time contract locum physician. Work on-site in the Wellness Clinic Youth Center, with collaboration with mid-levels and wellness staff, no weekend shifts, 8-hour day shifts, and professional liability insurance offered. Requires active Missouri medical license and DEA, and prior locums experience is a plus. On-site, in-person duties include school physicals, minor sports injuries, and management of common conditions (hypertension, diabetes, ADHD, GERD, UTIs, URIs, STDs, sprains, allergies, sick visits). Salary is $155 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Missouri state medical license
- Experience in providing medical care to adolescent patients
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work 18 hours per week (no weekends)
- Valid Federal DEA license
