Job Summary
Locum Part-Time Campus Physician on-site at the Excelsior Springs Job Corps in Missouri. Provide school physical exams and minor acute medical care to student patients aged 16-24, with a low-volume patient load. Collaboration with mid-levels, center medical staff, wellness staff, and substance abuse specialists as needed. Schedule runs 8:00 am–5:00 pm, 18 hours per week, no weekend shifts. Long-term contract role billed as an independent contractor (1099) with The Locums Company, LLC. Requirements include an active Missouri medical license, a Federal DEA license, and experience delivering care to adolescents; strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills are essential. Compensation: $155 per hour; eligible for professional liability insurance.
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Missouri medical license
- Federal DEA license
- Experience with adolescent patients (ages 16-24)
- Ability to perform basic medical procedures and prescribe medications
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work 18 hours per week (no weekends)
