Job Summary
Locum Campus Physician needed for the Excelsior Springs Job Corps in Excelsior Springs, MO. Long-term contract role as a Part-Time, Independent Contractor on-site to provide physical exams and minor acute medical care to student patients aged 16-24 at a wellness clinic within a student health services program. Responsibilities include school physical exams, management of minor injuries and common conditions (hypertension, diabetes, ADHD, GERD, UTIs, URIs, STDs, sprains, allergies), and sick visits with collaboration from mid-levels and wellness staff. Schedule features 18 hours per week, 8:00 am–5:00 pm, with no weekends; pay is $155 per hour. Requires active Missouri medical license and Federal DEA license; prior locum experience is a plus. Location is in-person at Excelsior Springs, MO.
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted state medical license in Missouri
- Federal DEA license
- Experience in providing medical care to adolescent patients (16-24)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to work 18 hours per week (no weekends)
- Prior locums physician experience is a plus
