Job Summary
Locum/contract Campus Physician needed for the Excelsior Springs Job Corps in Excelsior Springs, MO. Part-time (18 hours/week), on-site physician to provide physical exams and minor acute medical care for student patients aged 16–24 within a university-affiliated wellness clinic. Roles include routine school physicals, management of minor sports injuries and common conditions (hypertension, diabetes, ADHD, GERD, UTIs, URIs, STDs, sprains, allergies), and wellness/sick visits. Collaborates with mid-levels and the clinic’s medical/wellness staff; low patient volume with a long-term contract arrangement. Compensation is competitive at $155 per hour with professional liability insurance. Requires active Missouri medical license and DEA license; prior locum experience is a plus. Work location is in-person with no weekend shifts, and the schedule is set as 8-hour shifts with a typical day shift, 8:00 am–5:00 pm.”,
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Missouri state medical license
- Valid Federal DEA license
- Experience in providing medical care to adolescent patients (ages 16-24)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work 18 hours per week (no weekends)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Contract/locum physician experience (preferred)
