Job Summary
Locum Part-Time Campus Physician on-site at the Excelsior Springs Job Corps student wellness center to provide physical exams and minor acute medical care for students aged 16-24. Responsibilities include performing school physicals, managing minor sports injuries and common conditions (hypertension, diabetes, ADHD, GERD, UTIs, URIs, STDs), sick visits, and wellness exams, and collaborating with mid-levels and campus medical staff. The role is a long-term contract/1099 positions with 18 hours per week, 8-hour day shifts, no weekends, and in-person care. Requires active Missouri medical license and Federal DEA license; prior locum experience is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Missouri state medical license
- Valid Federal DEA license
- Experience in providing medical care to adolescent patients
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work 18 hours per week (no weekends)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience as a locums physician a plus
