Part-Time Building Security Officer Day Shift

Job Summary
Patrol building areas at regular intervals to ensure property security, answer alarms and investigate disturbances, and monitor and adjust controls for building systems like air conditioning and boilers. Write daily activity reports detailing irregularities such as equipment damage, theft, or unauthorized persons, while enforcing arena safety policies and assisting guests in emergency situations including medical aid or evacuations. Answer telephone calls to take messages and provide information, assist with VIP and event crew parking, and help manage crowd flow. Maintain a professional appearance and drive a company vehicle to practice facilities as needed. Work the day shift from 8am to 4pm.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must possess a valid Utah driver's license
- Must be able to pass a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) screening in accordance with company policy and insurance requirements
- Must be able to pass a drug test
- Must be able to take objections and respond with a guest service approach first
- Must be able to follow verbal and written direction
- Able to work flexible hours (evenings, weekends, and holidays)
- Must be able to sit, stand, bend, walk, and climb stairs for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs
