Job Summary
Welcome customers with genuine enthusiasm in person and over the phone, adapting style to suit their needs while managing customer flow using iPad tools and POS systems. Prepare for appointments by reviewing profiles and organizing fitting rooms, then strive to identify the perfect gown within the first three try-ons. Build relationships by listening to customer expectations, setting future appointments, and promoting alterations services to increase conversion rates. Maintain store standards for cleanliness and promotional readiness, ensure proper measurements are entered to minimize returns, and accurately process transactions while following loss prevention policies. Execute new processes, set up promotions, and perform merchandising tasks as assigned by store management.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or an equivalent degree
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time
- Ability to reach for tools and objects with hands and arms
- Ability to climb stairs
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Ability to talk to and hear customers
- Ability to occasionally lift to 25 pounds
- Ability to see up close and at a distance
- Ability to use peripheral vision and depth perception
- Ability to look at, read, and use a computer and electronic devices for long periods of time
Desired Qualifications
- 1 -2 years prior retail experience in an apparel, service or specialty store environment
- Prior experience with computerized POS system
