Job Summary
Represent Brooklyn SolarWorks at marketing events, community outreach programs, and high-traffic locations across NYC. Educate homeowners about solar energy options and benefits, then engage with potential customers to generate genuine interest and schedule Discovery Calls for the sales team. Identify and qualify leads to ensure they fit our solar solutions, earning performance bonuses for every converted project. This role requires working outdoors, driving with a valid license, and attending evening and weekend events with advance notice provided. Base pay is $23.00 hourly with additional bonuses, plus benefits including 401(k) matching, PTO, and commuter benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Genuine passion for solar energy and sustainability
- Positive, self-motivated attitude with the ability to work independently
- Ability to work outdoors, walk, and climb stairs
- Valid driver's license with a minimum of 3 years of driving experience (not including permit)
- Clean driving record and comfort driving and parking on NYC streets
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States
- Evenings and weekends are required
- Must be available for events
- Hours are event-driven
