Job Summary
Provide exemplary member service through all delivery channels in a branch setting. Responsibilities include greeting members, handling cash box management, opening and maintaining accounts, processing transactions, balancing cash drawers, operating the drive-thru, and maintaining records (vault, ATM, coin sorter, reports). Educate members on available banking services, make recommendations based on member needs, and process account changes. Use the Margo system for transactions, handle routine clerical duties, and assist with loss-prevention and compliance tasks. Requires strong communication, confidentiality, maturity, patience, and a professional demeanor; basic computer skills and fluency in English are necessary; ongoing training and professional development are expected.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to speak English fluently
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good mathematical skills and basic accounting knowledge
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and provide professional service
- Willingness to engage in ongoing training and development
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with data entry (e.g., Margo system)
- Ability to balance cash drawer and handle cash securely
- Customer-service oriented with a positive demeanor
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Team-oriented and able to collaborate with coworkers
- Ability to follow schedules and attendance policies
- Drive-thru operation experience (preferred)
- Experience in banking or financial services (preferred)
