Job Summary
Part-time Box Truck Driver needed to drive 26-28 ft box trucks on route deliveries in Louisville, KY. Responsibilities include driving company trucks to meet delivery schedules, loading/unloading, complying with DOT regulations, inspecting vehicles, performing preventative maintenance, reporting defects, completing paperwork, and communicating with Fleet Management on maintenance. Heavy lifting of 75+ lbs required. Requirements include 1-3 years of box truck or CMV experience, valid CDL-endorsement for the state, ability to pass drug tests and background checks, DOT medical card, and no recent violations. Forklift operation experience is a plus. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 5:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. (Part Time).
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience driving 26-28 FT box trucks or any other CMV over 10,001 lbs
- Valid truck driver license and state endorsement
- Willing to submit to drug screens and background checks
- Maintain valid DOT medical examiner’s card
- No recent moving or driving violations
- Operate forklift
