Job Summary
Part-Time Bookkeeper to oversee day-to-day accounting operations, support financial reporting, and help ensure the agency's financial health. Responsibilities include overseeing accounts payable and accounts receivable, managing cash flow, reconciling bank and balance sheet accounts, preparing monthly financial reports and assisting with month-end/year-end close, preparing HST filings, supporting external reviews, and identifying opportunities to improve accounting processes and controls. Requires working in a hybrid setup with London, Ontario, and offers flexible part-time scheduling. Emphasis on accurate records, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with leadership and external accounting partners.
Required Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA designation (or working toward designation) preferred
- Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong understanding of Canadian accounting principles and tax requirements
- Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
