Job Summary
Meet and greet all guests arriving by any transportation, assist with luggage retrieval from vehicles, and escort guests to the lobby for registration. Park vehicles securely, mark key tags with location and guest details, and explain parking procedures and fees. Provide directions to the registration area, answer questions regarding hotel services and local events, and transport guests to their rooms by carrying luggage or using a cart. Maintain professionalism and courtesy throughout the hotel while demonstrating self-confidence and energy. Work as a team to exceed guest expectations and resolve conflicts, taking initiative to learn about other departments and offer improvement ideas.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must have general knowledge of basic customer service skills
- Must be fluent in oral and written English
- Must have knowledge of local establishments, businesses and the surrounding community in general
- Must be able to see objects and people up close and at a distance
- Must be able to grasp handles
- Must be able to carry bundles
- Must be able to lift packages
- Must be able to continually push, lift and carry up to 65lbs throughout the hotel during entire shift
