Part Time Behavioral Support Counselor (Harford County)

Job Summary
The Therapeutic Behavioral Support Counselor will provide individual or group treatment for youth ages 4 to 21 using individualized defined treatment plans. Responsibilities include implementing treatment programs under the direct supervision of a Master’s level supervisor, collecting data on target behaviors, and meeting with supervisors regularly. Candidates must be 18 or older, possess reliable transportation, maintain a valid driver’s license, and pass a CJIS report. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum age of 18
- Access to reliable transportation
- Valid driver’s license with no more than 2 points
- Must be willing to drive 15 passenger van
- Satisfactory CJIS report
- High School diploma required
Desired Qualifications
- AA in psychology, social work or therapeutic recreation or a related field preferred
- Desire for continued learning opportunities
- Willingness to embrace instruction
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal relationship skills
