Job Summary
Deliver skills training and behavioral therapy to children, adolescents, adults, and their families in home and clinic settings while maintaining accurate session notes and data collection. Provide feedback to parents and caregivers under the direction of BCBA/LBA staff, collaborating with clinical teams, schools, and other service providers. Implement treatment plans as a technician while participating in ongoing trainings and supervision, with a requirement to obtain RBT Certification within 60 days of employment. Work Tuesdays through Fridays from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, committing to one year of service. Bilingual therapists are highly desired, and candidates must possess full physical dexterity and the ability to lift pediatric populations weighing up to 50 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in the field of autism and special needs, education, mental health or ABA
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS)
- 6 months – 1 years' experience with ABA
- Available primarily 3pm-6pm multiple days per week with potential for morning hours
- Able to maintain consistent availability and schedule
- Commit to 1 year of employment
- Strong clinical insight
- Critical thinking skills
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver's license
- Driver's insurance
- Full physical dexterity/agility or ability to independently position self and perform all movements required (bending, kneeling, computer typing, standing, fetching documents from file cabinets)
- Sufficient corrected or uncorrected vision to carry out all duties and responsibilities
- Ability to lift and carry pediatric population (weight ranging from 5 to 50 lbs.)
- Must meet all training and certification requirements
- RBT Certification within 60 days of employment
Desired Qualifications
- BA/BS preferred in the fields of psychology, counseling, marriage and family therapy, social work, school psychology, education, special education, ABA, or related field
- Individuals with other experience working with children are encouraged to apply
