Job Summary
Assist teachers with student academic goals through small group or individual instruction and enforce classroom management plans to ensure appropriate learning environments. Supervise students during breakfast, recess, lunch, dismissal, special events, and programs while supporting differentiated instruction for individual students and groups. Help prepare paperwork for the ARD/IEP process, collect and enter data for special education reports, and document progress. Work normal school hours as a part-time position with occasional light lifting in a classroom setting.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of 48 college hours
- Experience working with children
