Job Summary
PT Bartender at Bar Max in Hartford, CT. Responsibilities include mixing and serving a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, providing fast, friendly and accurate bar service to guests, maintaining a clean and stocked bar, following recipes and portion standards, processing transactions and handling cash/credit payments, checking IDs and ensuring responsible alcohol service, engaging with guests to enhance the dining experience, and assisting with opening, closing, and restocking duties. Required 1 year of bartending experience in fine dining or 2+ years in a high-volume casual dining environment; strong knowledge of cocktails, wine, and spirits; TIPS or ServSafe Alcohol certification preferred; open availability including nights, weekends, and holidays; friendly, energetic, multitasking, and customer-service oriented personality.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of bartending experience in fine dining is REQUIRED
- 2+ years in a high-volume casual dining environment will be considered
- Strong working knowledge of classic cocktails, wine, and spirits
- TIPS or ServSafe Alcohol certification preferred
