Job Summary
Banquet Houseman role responsible for cleaning and maintaining service areas, setting up and stocking linens and equipment, and assisting other departments to ensure high-quality guest service. Duties include completing closing procedures, transporting dirty linens, maintaining cleanliness and organization, adhering to safety and security policies, and delivering professional guest interactions using clear, respectful communication. The position requires physical endurance (standing/walking for long periods), ability to lift moderate weights, and teamwork to support banquet operations in a hotel setting.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- No related work experience
- Ability to stand, walk for extended periods
- Move, lift, and carry objects up to 50 pounds without assistance; up to 75 pounds with assistance
- Read and visually verify information in various formats
- Move over uneven surfaces and steps
