Job Summary
Supervise banquet staff during events, oversee service operations and breakdowns, ensure adherence to banquet event orders, coordinate with catering/convention services, and verify staffing levels for upcoming functions. May operate as a banquet server for setup, greeting, serving guests, and breakdown. Maintain cleanliness of banquet areas and inspect equipment at event end; post banquet checks and submit to Night Audit. Requires English communication, ability to lift up to 30 lbs, and flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Strong teamwork, customer service, and hospitality focus are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Must have open availability including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must have the ability to communicate in English
- Self-starting personality with an even disposition
- Ability to meet standards of appearance
- Can communicate well with guests
- Ability to transport up to 30 lbs. through a crowded room on a continuous basis throughout the shift
- Must be willing to “pitch-in” and help coworkers with their job duties and be a team player
