Job Summary
Execute receiving and merchandising standards while orchestrating truck deliveries to prioritize merchandise processing onto the sales floor. Engage with all customers to maintain an excellent experience, ensuring the backroom area remains clean, organized, and compliant with safety and recycling protocols. Train and mentor associates on merchandising principles, monitor team productivity, and coach as necessary to ensure adherence to store plans and labor laws. Rotate back stock for easy replenishment and communicate effectively with management to address priorities and provide progress updates. Work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends, with a starting pay of $14.25 to $14.75 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year retail experience
- 6 months of leadership experience
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
- Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Capable of multi-tasking
- Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations
- Team player, working effectively with peers and supervisors
- Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation
- Able to train others
