Job Summary
Part-time Athletic Trainer responsible for the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of athletic injuries and illnesses in student-athletes; collaborates with coaches, students, parents/guardians, and medical professionals to ensure health and safety; educates the school community on injury prevention and rehabilitation; 210 days at 20 to 27.5 hours per week; duties align with Team Physician Standing Orders Protocol under the Athletic Director; requires AT licensure (PA), BOC certification, CPR/AED/First Aid, and CEU maintenance, with salary based on experience and qualifications.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training, Kinesiology, Sports Medicine or a related field
- Master’s degree, preferred
- Athletic Training Licensure (ATC) from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
- Board of Certification (BOC) certification
- CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications
- PIAA/NWCA Minimum Wrestling Weight Assessor Certification (can be obtained after employment)
- Continuing Education Units (CEUs) maintenance per BOC requirements
