Job Summary
Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets in clients' homes as part of Lap of Love's mobile veterinary team. Deliver 3–4 un-rushed appointments per day with a focus on meaningful family interactions, while maintaining high standards of patient care and client support. Operate within a flexible 2–5 day-per-week schedule, benefiting from onboarding, mentorship, and access to experienced leaders. Work independently in the field with ongoing professional and personal fulfillment, and opportunities for base salary with bonus potential and benefits. This role emphasizes a balance between professional responsibilities and personal well-being, offering the autonomy of mobile practice and the support of a thriving veterinary community.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent professional degree
- Licensed veterinarian in good standing
- Ability to perform in-home hospice and euthanasia care
- Strong client communication and compassionate bedside manner
