Job Summary
In-home, part-time Associate Veterinarian with Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice in Hartford and surrounding areas. Provides hospice and euthanasia care in clients’ homes as part of a mobile veterinary practice, offering flexible 2–5 day-per-week schedules, 3–4 appointments per day, mentorship and onboarding support, and a balanced life while delivering compassionate veterinary care outside traditional clinics. Opportunities to practice independently with ongoing professional support from a community of veterinarians and practice managers; base salary $55,000 annually for part-time roles, plus bonus opportunities and benefits. Locations include Hartford and Broad Brook, CT (US).
Required Qualifications
- DVM or VMD degree
- Licensed or eligible for veterinary licensure in Connecticut
- Associate Veterinarian with experience in in-home hospice or euthanasia care preferred
- ability to work flexible 2–5 day-per-week schedule
- strong communication and empathetic skills
- ability to practice independently in mobile/home-visit setting
