Job Summary
Part-time Associate Veterinarian (mobile, in-home hospice and euthanasia) serving Newton and Great Meadows, NJ; provide compassionate hospice care to pets and families in their homes; practice independently with support from Lap of Love’s onboarding, mentorship, and 24/7/365 Support Center; flexible 2–5 day-per-week schedules with an average of 3–4 un-rushed appointments per day, enabling meaningful client interactions; opportunity to contribute to a veterinary team focused on balance, wellbeing, and purpose in a mobile hospice practice; base salary of $65,000 annually with bonus opportunities and benefits; locations include Great Meadows, NJ and Newton, NJ.
Required Qualifications
- DVM or VMD degree
- Licensed to practice veterinary medicine in NJ or ability to obtain licensure in NJ
- Experience in veterinary hospice or end-of-life care preferred
- Ability to work in-home/mobile settings
- Excellent communication and compassionate client service
