Job Summary
In-home, mobile Associate Veterinarian role with Lap of Love, serving Providence, RI and surrounding areas. Deliver hospice and euthanasia care to pets and families with flexible 2–5 day-per-week schedules, 3–4 un-rushed appointments per day, and a balance between professional fulfillment and personal life. Role emphasizes practicing medicine with purpose outside traditional clinics, ongoing mentorship and onboarding support, and meaningful patient-family interactions in a home-visit setting. Required Qualifications
- DVM or equivalent degree
- Licensed to practice veterinary medicine in RI or eligible to obtain RI license
- Experience or interest in veterinary hospice and end-of-life care preferred
- Ability to provide in-home veterinary services and euthanasia when appropriate
- Strong communication and compassionate client interaction skills
