Job Summary
In-home/mobile Associate Veterinarian role providing hospice and euthanasia care for pets in Sterling Heights and surrounding areas. Flexible part-time schedules (2–5 days/week) with a goal of 3–4 unhurried appointments per day, allowing practice with purpose while maintaining personal balance. Independent practice within Lap of Love’s veterinary hospice team, with onboarding, mentorship, and 24/7/365 support. Position emphasizes compassionate pet-family care, emotional fulfillment, and autonomy in a mobile, home-visit setting. Location(s): Sterling Heights, MI and Ortonville, MI.
Required Qualifications
- DVM or equivalent
- Licensed veterinarian in good standing
- Ability to provide hospice and euthanasia care
- Comfort with in-home/mobile practice
- Empathy and strong communication with families
