Job Summary
In-Home, Associate Veterinarian role with Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice in Passaic, NJ and surrounding areas. Practice hospice and euthanasia care as a mobile veterinary clinician, delivering compassionate, client-focused medicine in patients’ homes with flexible 2–5 day-per-week schedules and 3–4 un-rushed appointments per day. Join a veterinarian-founded, supportive network offering onboarding, mentorship, and a dedicated support center, with opportunities for professional fulfillment and work-life balance. Locations include Passaic, NJ and Nassau County, NY. Compensation includes a guaranteed base salary of $65,000 annually for part-time roles plus bonus opportunities and benefits; full-time compensation details available upon request.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (D.V.M. or V.M.D.) from an accredited veterinary college
- licensure in good standing to practice veterinary medicine in New Jersey and/or New York
- ability to perform hospice and euthanasia veterinary care
- strong communication and empathy skills
- ability to manage a flexible schedule and work independently
- compassionate patient- and family-centered care
