Job Summary
In-Home, Associate Veterinarian in Buffalo, NY and surrounding areas for Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice. Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care to pets and families in a mobile, in-home setting; offer flexible 2–5 day-per-week scheduling with 3–4 un-rushed appointments per day, and participate in ongoing onboarding, mentorship, and support from experienced leaders. Role focuses on delivering patient-centered veterinary care outside of a traditional clinic, with emphasis on work-life balance, emotional fulfillment, and independence within a supportive team.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed veterinarian in good standing
- DVM or equivalent degree
- Ability to provide hospice and euthanasia care in-home
- Strong communication and empathy skills
- Ability to work independently with mentorship support
- Comfort with flexible scheduling and travel within service area
