Job Summary
In-home mobile veterinary hospice role providing compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families in the Milwaukee area. Flexible part-time schedule (2–5 days/week) with an average of 3–4 un-rushed appointments per day, allowing a balance between professional fulfillment and personal life. The role supports independent practice with ongoing onboarding, mentorship, and access to leadership, and involves practicing medicine in clients' homes within the Milwaukee region (Port Washington also referenced). Requires DVM and ability to provide humane end-of-life care, strong client communication, and compassionate bedside manner.
Required Qualifications
- DVM or equivalent Veterinary degree
- Licensed to practice veterinary medicine in Wisconsin
- Ability to perform in-home hospice and euthanasia services
- Strong communication and empathy in client interactions
- Independent practice with mentorship available
- Flexibility to work 2-5 days per week and travel within Milwaukee area
